Body as Capital is an exhibition at the intersection of sex work and manual labor that explores the concept of ‘selling your body’. The goal of this show is to add to the conversation questioning what kind of physical impact stays within us. Why is manual labor praised while sex work is stigmatized? How does this highlight the contrast between traditionally feminine care work and hyper masculine work?
